God of the Bad Boys
God of the Bad Boys. Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future. Man was created in the image and after God's likeness. But when he had encounter with the devil, his destiny was truncated because of sin. Sin had dominion over man that he thought abnormal things were normal. Even men that were very closed to God had it tough with sin. As believers we must understand that there is no small sin or Big sin.Murderers will go to hell as liers will go to hell.Thieves and fornicators will go as adulterers and ritualists will go there if they don't repent of their sin. Take the account of Abraham's journey to Egypt for instance in Gen 12:11-20.He got to the land and told a lie. Isaac was a boy of God that committed the same blunder in Gen 26:7-11 when the men of the land asked him about his wife,he said "she is my sister" because he was afraid to say "she was his wife"..... Another boy that was very bad was jacob.Jacob took his brother's birthright, impersonated his brother and took his blessing,in fact, slept with another woman in the stead of the one he served for,and claimed not to know. David!!! The greatest bad he did was to have taken Uriah's wife and killed him.Little wonder why God said "I have found David,a man after my own heart"..Psm 89:20. What about Paul? He wrote the greater part of the New Testament.Yet killed and facilitated the killing of so many christians in the scriptures. However,God did not give up on these guys in the midst of those irregularities, He was identifying with them because He knew it was not about what what they are but what they can be. He undestood it was the process and part of their making. No wonder when the process was fully done, the glory of the products was revealed, and they did several exploits for God. I may not understand how far you have travelled on the path of wrong deeds or the particular bad habits you are struggling with I like you to know you have a place in His heart and together we shall promote the King's biz
